About Us
Behind every Happy Project celebration is a team of people who believe deeply in the power of celebrating life—and whose hearts for this work are rooted in the love of Christ.
What began with a lifelong love of baking and a heart for foster children and families has grown into a team united by a simple belief: every child is created with worth, dignity, and purpose, and every life is worth celebrating.
Our desire to serve children and families flows from the love of Christ and the example He gives us to love, care for, and come alongside others. We believe that even the simplest acts of kindness can communicate something meaningful: you are seen, you are loved, you matter, and your life is worth celebrating.
Each member of the Happy Project team brings different gifts, experiences, and passions to this mission, but we share a common desire to use what we have been given to serve others. Together, we are honored to come alongside families and the organizations that support them, creating moments of joy, belonging, and celebration.
Whether through a birthday, a milestone, a thoughtful card, or a simple celebration, our hope is that every Happy Project experience reflects the love of Christ and reminds each child that their life matters, their story matters, and they are deeply worth celebrating.
We are grateful for the opportunity to serve and honored to be part of the Happy Project family.
Our Story
*Insert Jeff and Emily Story
Happy Project was born from a lifelong love of baking and a deep desire to care for children and families. The founders of Lancaster Cupcake started their business simply from a passion for creating beautiful, joyful treats, while also carrying a longtime heart for foster children and families. As they built their business, they had hoped to one day foster children themselves, but as life became increasingly full and busy, that dream looked different than they had imagined. Over time, they realized they could use what they had already built to make a far-reaching impact—bringing the joy of baking and the celebration of life’s special moments to vulnerable children and families throughout the community. Happy Project is an extension of that heart: using something as simple as a cake or cupcake to remind a child that they are seen, loved, and worth celebrating.
